Residents, workers, and students across Richmond upon Thames are invited to attend a public forum next month to have their say on the borough’s long-term transport plans.
The Transport Strategy 2040 sets out Richmond Council’s vision for a more sustainable, inclusive and accessible transport network over the next 15 years. The forum, which will take place at York House, Twickenham on Thursday 8 May, will give attendees the opportunity to hear about the strategy’s aims and contribute their ideas in a series of roundtable discussions.
The strategy focuses on several key priorities, including:
Improving connectivity and accessibility
Increasing public transport reliability
Supporting walking and cycling
Reducing emissions and improving air quality
