Monty’s grandson visits Shaef Monument

The grandson of wartime hero Field Marshal Bernard ‘Monty’ Montgomery (below left) visited the SHAEF (Supreme Headquarters Allied Expeditionary Force) Monument in Bushy Park on Thursday 9th April. He placed a replacement commemorative plaque on the monument. The previous one had become damaged and needed to be replaced.
