Park Lane Stables have achieved their target!

The Stables have achieved their fundraising target to raise £75,000 to get them through the winter months when the shorter days mean they can do fewer sessions, but their costs remain very high.

To put it in perspective, the Stable’s running costs are around £25,000 every single month, but a lot of the costs have gone up dramatically recently. For example, the long,dry summer has led to a national hay shortage - which has seen their hay bill go up by over 40% since June. A small bale of bay now costs them £9 and that's about a 5 minute snack for a hungry horse!

This was their biggest fundraising effort for several years and will help them deliver the services their participants rely on through the winter, when their regular time with the horses and the PLS team are so important to them.
